It took 19 holes over regulation, but in a classic match up Woods beat Mediate by a stroke to win the US Open, his 14th major.While I'm sure all the talk will be about Woods (deservingly so), I'd like to give a shout out to Rocco for displaying temerity and grace under fire. It was easy to see why so many other players like golfing with him.
All in all, I can think of worse ways to spend a Monday.
