If Gov. Spitzer falls on his sword (and I can't imagine him not) then the reins would fall to his Lt. Governor David Paterson, who would become the first African-American Governor of NY and the first legally blind Governor.Paterson happened to have been the state Senator of my district back back in the day, and while I can't say that he did much, he seemed to have been a man of integrity who never seemed to get entangled in any scandals. This probably means he's the right man for the job right now.
So Paterson, Obama, and Woods...how much longer will it be before the black man is just 'the man'?
