Kevin Tillman has as much right to his views as anyone else, and his personal experience may even give him a unique insight on things others don't have. While John Hinderaker and others are also right to make counterarguments, to the extent anyone has disparaged him personally, they're wrong.
I found it interesting that in a post criticizing war supporters for disparaging the Tillmans because their beliefs were incompatible, there's a comment calling Army Rangers who support the war "Moral Cowards."
Holding the moral high ground can be tough when those around you don't cooperate.
