Tuesday is the deadline for roughly 5,000 displaced Katrina victims to vacate their hotel rooms which the government had been subsidizing. So far FEMA has paid $522 million for hotel rooms as part of their 6 billion dollar Katrina aid package.

Should they be tossed out? Well this blogger will have to wait and see how many stories float onto the media stage, but I think if an extension is given maybe Exxon-Mobil might wanna chip in...I hear they have some extra money to spare.
