Reading the post you cite, and having read other posts about Walter Reed from Smash, it's apparent he's given time and money to soldiers being treated there.

Possibly. I'll look more into it. On first reading the post came off pretty crass and I got reactionary. I'm just plain ticked off by the lack of veteran's care in the country. I mean our soliders are asked to make the ultimate sacrifice and when you hear about things like the Walter Reed scandal I get ticked. Especially when it happens on the watch of the same people who constantly tell us to "support our troops." I probably did jump to a conclusion, but I swear it was the first time that ever happened.
